Zone 8 South Junior Players qualify at a single combined event to be scheduled in May or June, with final dates to be set by the host course on the following rotation:

Zone 8 South qualifies 3 persons plus 1 Alternate for each BC Golf Championship division.
Valid Golf Canada Index Required.
BC Golf Age Categories:
Junior: 18 years of age or younger as of August 1st
Juvenile: U17: 16 years of age or younger as of August 1st
Bantam: U15: 14 years of age or younger as of August 1st
Novice: U13: 12 years of age or younger as of August 1st
The Player Development Trust Fund will award ten (10) $2,000 scholarships to promising young “scholastic golfers” to assist them with tuition and other educational expenses in pursuing a post-secondary education.
